Boart Longyear Zambia Drilling Services Receives Award

Boart LongyearTM Zambia Drilling Services was presented an award by Mr. Joseph Sekala, Acting Director General of the Zambian Environmental Management Agency for recognition of positive improvements towards sound management practices in Lusaka, Zambia at a ceremony that was attended by key mining institutions in Zambia. This event is held each year to recognize significant developments in environmental practices within the Textile, Transport, Mining, Farming, Media, and Infrastructure industries.

 A special thanks to Robbie Gilbertson (EHS) for being instrumental in moving this forward and discussing Boart Longyear’s EHS policies on a regular basis with the Environmental Agency.
